You may submit an application for our Collections-Related Grants on our grant portal linked below. Please keep in mind that the Foundation prefers 12 months’ notice before the start of a project. 

Starting Summer 2022, the Thoma Foundation is introducing three yearly application cycles for our Collections-Related Grants in the Spring, Summer, and Fall. We are also condensing our previous two-step LOI and full proposal process into a single application stage. Please note that only our Collections-Related Grants are available for open submission; all other grant opportunities are currently by invitation only. As we are continuing to revise and develop all our grant programs, we encourage you to check back on our website frequently for news and updates.

The Summer deadline for applications will be August 1, 2022. Decisions will be made and grants awarded by September 1, 2022. The deadline for the following Fall cycle will be November 1, 2022 with grants awarded December 1, 2022.
