The Carl & Marilynn Thoma Foundation is delighted to be supporting the exhibition A Garden of Common Delights. This temporary exhibition brings five artworks selected from the Digital & Media Art Collection of Thoma Foundation to the Edith Farnsworth House. These artworks will be in conversation with five new commissions to emerging and established international artists from diverse backgrounds. The exhibition is a contemporary reinterpretation of the sculpture walk that occupied the garden during the ownership of Lord Peter Palumbo and it focuses on how modernity, minimalism, and economic forces have shaped our understandings of nature, economy, resources, austerity, and excess in the age of climate emergency.
