Elba María Tejero Cox, PhD student at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, was awarded the inaugural Exploratory Travel Award in October 2021. She is conducting her dissertation El conjunto religioso de Santo Domingo de Lima: arte, imagen e identidad (ss. XVI-XVIII), which proposes a study of the development of the convent and church of Santo Domingo from an art historical perspective.
