Sums & Differences

The Listasafn Árnesinga Museum (Hveragerði, Iceland) has been awarded an exhibition grant and artwork loans for Sums & Differences. The exhibition will be on view September 17 – December 18, 2022. The traveling exhibition brings together works by Thoma Foundation Collection artists Gary Hill, Steina, and Woody Vašulka. Sums & Differences aims to present the commonalities of the three artists earliest explorations and the subsequent divergence of their artistic practices. Spanning several decades, the artworks on view range from early exploratory works with electronic processing tools to algorithms and codes for experiential research.
